But thats not going to be easy, he admits.”The club has a policy of not paying any agents fees to prevent a regular merry-go-round of players as is common-place in football,” said Light. “Several counties are coveting our leading players. Lucrative offers have been made to Alex Gidman and to Steve Kirby from well-to-do counties, backed by much more money than we’ve got.”Gloucestershire are languishing at the bottom of the Championship second division points table.
